One of those kind of days.

There are those days in life that you realize that no one gets out unscathed, unhurt. This was one of those days! We had loved her unconditionally and she had done the same for us but her body was shutting down, she had given it all. She had been in every significant moment cheering these two kids on, letting them know that she loved them. As a mother, I knew this was going to hurt them and a part of me wanted to spare them that pain and then the more realistic part of me knew that this would not be the first hurt in life and experience was a very direct teacher. Maggie, we still love you and carry you in our hearts.
