How often are you present in the moment?

How often do you find yourself waiting for the future to arrive? Or maybe you frequently relive the past?

You’ve heard all the (overused) phrases about being in the moment - I won’t bore you with those here - but the sentiment is crucial, especially with these twenty-first century, post-pandemic lives we’re living.

When we are in stress or anxiety it is often because we are in worry about something that hasn’t even happened yet and may never happen. Or we are replaying something that happened in the past and generating stress or anxiety in our present. Perhaps just being in the here and now we can begin to eliminate stress and anxiety. Right here. Right now.

The present moment is all we truly have so being present to it seems to me to be a really important thing.

There’s so much power available to you when you’re present and available to the wisdom from all of your senses; your body, mind, emotions, and energy being.

If you’d like to experience living in the now more often, here’s a simple practice for you. It’s something you can do right now and any time you need to reconnect.
